    Lisa has spent her career with NBC at the intersection of media, community impact, strategic partnerships and storytelling.

    As a journalist, marketer and brand expert, she became the trusted liaison between community initiatives, marketing, editorial and live experiential events. An architect of programming that brings people together for a common purpose, Lisa is a natural connector of people, visions, content and brands. She has often received feedback that her superpower is leading with both her brain and her heart and her relationship building is part of her legacy. 

    For over 25 years, Lisa produced the NBC Health and Fitness Expo along with many public health campaigns that turned education into real behavioral change. Now she is repotting that expertise in her next chapter, with the goal of helping everyone reach their optimal health and live with more joy, purpose and confidence no matter their population or zip code. 

    A breast cancer thriver, Lisa co-founded HealthyHER, to help people understand their own bodies and take charge of their well-being as well as showcase content and technology platforms that translate into education. 

    With training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and certification as an AI Architect, she brings science and strategy together through personalized coaching and experiential events that explore nutrigenomics, hormones, and cancer, translating them into simple, doable steps for bio-individual and multidimensional growth from the inside out.

    Maria is a seasoned media and brand partnerships professional with a passion for health and wellness, whether physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. She’s worked on wellness-driven shows including The Dr. Oz Show, The Mel Robbins Show, and The Good Dish, building and executing branded partnerships with some of the world’s top CPG, OTC and beauty companies. 

    As a carrier of the BRCA2 genetic mutation, Maria experienced firsthand the life-changing impact of genetic testing and accessible health education. A genetic mutation has physical, mental, and emotional effects. “My BRCA2 journey has shaped not only my perspective but also my mission: to live my life in a healthful way and to help others do the same through education, awareness and maintaining healthy habits.”

    Maria is also a proud member of Media Ladies Conquering Cancer (MLCC), a nonprofit that uplifts women navigating and thriving beyond breast cancer. Maria acts as Gifting Chair.

    Maria is also a candidate for a Health Coach Certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
